SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
7.1 Shipping Carriers
Catanzaro Food Products ships orders via FedEx, UPS, and USPS (United States Postal Service). The carrier selected for your order will be determined based on order size, destination, package weight, service level, and availability at the time of shipment. Catanzaro Food Products reserves the right to select the most appropriate carrier at our discretion.
•    FedEx — Available for standard and expedited residential and commercial deliveries nationwide.
•    UPS — Available for standard and expedited residential and commercial deliveries nationwide.
•    USPS — Available for smaller orders and deliveries to P.O. Boxes or locations where FedEx and UPS do not deliver.
Shipping rates and delivery timeframes are determined by the selected carrier based on origin, destination, package weight, and service level. Catanzaro Food Products is not responsible for carrier-specific service disruptions, delays, or limitations.
7.2 Residential vs. Business Delivery
When placing an order, customers must accurately indicate whether the shipping address is residential or commercial. FedEx and UPS apply different rate structures for residential versus business deliveries. Providing an incorrect address type may result in additional charges, which are the responsibility of the customer. USPS does not differentiate between residential and commercial delivery rates.
7.3 Shipping Rates & Special Rate Orders
Published carrier rates (FedEx, UPS, or USPS) apply to all standard orders. For orders with a product subtotal exceeding $250.00, customers are encouraged to contact Catanzaro Food Products before completing checkout to discuss potential special shipping rates. Please call (401) 255-1700 or email kristen@catanzarofoodproducts.com during business hours (Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM EST).
7.4 Order Processing Time
Orders are processed during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST. Orders placed after business hours, on weekends, or on federal holidays will be processed on the next available business day. As a small-batch, family-operated manufacturer, processing times may vary based on production schedules and order volume.
7.5 Risk of Loss
Once Catanzaro Food Products transfers your order to the carrier (FedEx, UPS, or USPS), title and risk of loss for the products pass to you. We are not liable for shipping and delivery delays. All delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, weather events, natural disasters, labor disputes, customs processing, or other events outside our control.
7.6 Shipping Damages
All orders are carefully packed to minimize the risk of damage in transit. If your order arrives damaged, please retain all original packaging and contact us within 48 hours of delivery at kristen@catanzarofoodproducts.com or (401) 255-1700. Photographic evidence may be requested to facilitate a carrier claim with FedEx, UPS, or USPS, as applicable. Catanzaro Food Products will work with you to resolve confirmed shipping damage as promptly as possible.
7.7 Address Accuracy
Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping addresses. Catanzaro Food Products is not liable for orders that are undeliverable, delayed, or lost due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer. Additional re-shipping charges due to address errors are the responsibility of the customer.
7.8 B2B Wholesale Shipping
Wholesale orders may be subject to freight shipping for large or pallet-sized quantities. B2B freight terms (including FOB origin, freight collect, or prepaid and add) will be agreed upon at the time of each wholesale order. Wholesale buyers are responsible for inspecting all shipments upon delivery and noting any discrepancies or damages on the delivery receipt at time of acceptance.
