About Us

Catanzaro Food Products® was established out of the love for cooking and baking. Steve’s desire for cooking pasta sauce (gravy) and Kristen’s desire for baking started many years ago.

Steve’s first love was being a professional firefighter. As the firehouse cook, pasta was a staple item on the menu. With so many critics involved the opportunity to produce the best sauce possible, was expected. Using the recipes handed down from his family and after many years of trial and error, the perfect (firehouse) sauce was created. This eventually initiated the idea to jar it, and make it available for your kitchen.

Kristen’s love for baking started when she was just a child in her mother’s kitchen. She would bake cookies from “scratch” for her family to enjoy. She would always be asked to bake for a variety of functions, later leading to more extravagant events, such as weddings and showers.

The couple, as you can see, evolved into a perfect match. Together with their experience and authentic recipes from their families, Catanzaro Food Products® was born.
